About the e-Ticket
What is the Dominican Republic e-Ticket (electronic entry and exit form)?
The e-Ticket is the electronic entry and exit form of the Dominican Republic. It combines the immigration, customs and health declarations that travelers used to fill in on paper, and gives you a QR code for each journey.
The e-Ticket is not a visa. Travelers who need a visa for the Dominican Republic must hold one in addition to their e-Ticket. Show your QR code at check-in and to the immigration officer on arrival.

Eligibility
Who needs a Dominican Republic e-Ticket?
- All passengers on commercial flights entering or leaving the Dominican Republic must complete an e-Ticket, whatever their nationality.
- A separate e-Ticket is needed for each entry and each exit.
- Every traveler must be included, including children and infants.
Exemptions: The e-Ticket applies to commercial flights. Travelers arriving by private aircraft or by sea, and some official travelers, follow other procedures. Check the latest rules before you travel.

Do I need an e-Ticket to visit the Dominican Republic?

Do I need a separate e-Ticket to leave the country?
Yes. The entry and the exit are two separate forms. Each one has its own QR code.
Is the e-Ticket a visa?
No. The e-Ticket is an entry and exit declaration. If your nationality needs a visa to enter the Dominican Republic, you must also hold a valid visa.
How will I receive my e-Ticket?
Your QR code is sent to the email address you provide in your application. You can print it or show it on your phone at check-in and on arrival.
